about me

After graduating from the higher-level secondary commerical college in Innsbruck, I attended the Bachelor program in "Management and Economics" at the University of Innsbruck, spezalizing in financial-, banking-, and risk management. Right after graduating in February 2012, I started attending the Master programm in "Banking and Finance" at the University of Innsbruck. In parallel, starting in 2013, I took several courses from the curriculum of the Master program in "Applied Economics" to deepen my knowledge in different fields relevant to my research interests. Since October 2014, I've been attending the PhD Program in Economics at the University of Innsbruck joint with the Johannes-Kepler-University in Linz. Since that time, I'm affiliated with the chair of Michael Kichler at the Department of Banking and Finance at the University of Innsbruck as research assistent and lecturer.

My research interests comprise different aspects related to the field of behavioral and experimental economics and finance, decision theory, and applied game theory. In particular, I am currently focusing on individual-level decision making and different elicitation procedures for attitudes towards risk and losses as well as behavioral biases but also on methodological issues related to the field of experimental economics in general.

"bomb" risk elicitation task

for oTree

The application allows to run the bomb risk elicitation task (BRET) as proposed by Crosetto/Filippin (2013) with oTree. Numerous different variations are easily conducted by simply tweaking the user-friendly setup in a separate file.

ready-to-use oTree apps

Several more ready-made modules for use with oTree will be provided shortly. I'm currently working on some more apps for risk preference elicitation and other commonly applied tasks in the field of experimental economics.
